Lauren “Lola” Cecilia Persons, M.Ed., BCBA

Lauren “Lola” Cecilia Persons is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, former special education teacher, and Founder of Bound to Bloom Behavioral Institute.
With over 15 years in education and clinical practice, Lola is known for combining evidence based strategies with clarity, compassion, and a future focused vision for families of autistic and developmentally diverse children.
Her work began in Hawai‘i, where she earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Hawai‘i and taught at Poʻokela, a nationally recognized model autism program. There, she helped integrate academic standards with individualized support, shaping the foundation of the work she leads today.

Since relocating to Cary, North Carolina, Lola has been recognized as Teacher of the Year in Wake County Public Schools and has become a trusted leader across both educational and clinical settings.
In 2023, she founded Bound to Bloom to expand beyond traditional therapy models and create something more intentional. Bound to Bloom is a values driven institute that integrates clinical care, parent leadership, and real world readiness through community partnerships across Cary, Holly Springs, and Apex.
She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Taylor YMCA, where she continues to advocate for meaningful inclusion and community connection.
Lola’s Clubhouse was created as the flagship platform of Bound to Bloom, bringing structured guidance, practical tools, and clear direction into homes across the country and beyond.
Lola believes families deserve more than getting through the day. She helps families build a life by design, rooted in clarity, confidence, and real opportunity.

Who this is for

For parents of autistic and developmentally diverse children who want to feel confident, clear, and supported in how they show up for their child every day.
You are doing everything you can.
You just need a way to make it all come together.

The problem

Parents are given strategies, but not a clear way to use them.
In real life, things move fast.
Transitions, behaviors, communication breakdowns. In those moments, you are left wondering what to do.

Many families are

Unsure if they are responding the right way.
Carrying the pressure of getting it right without a clear path.

That gap is where families feel stuck.
