Social Skills
Clubhouse Social Skills Group
The Clubhouse Social Skills Group at Bound to Bloom provides students with the opportunity to interact with age-appropriate peers through structured activities, guided instruction, and games. Led by an experienced special education teacher and BCBA, the program focuses on building friendships while improving communication, social skills, and academic performance in a supportive environment.
The program includes daily routines such as a Morning Meeting to reinforce structure and group communication, as well as a Check-In to support emotional regulation and peer interaction.
Students will receive targeted instruction in Math, focusing on skills such as counting, addition and subtraction, base ten concepts, money, and time. In Language Arts, students will engage in differentiated reading activities, work on writing sight words and sentences, and develop comprehension skills.
If your child is an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems user, they will be encouraged to communicate through modeling and role-play during group activities, allowing them to use their communication systems effectively in social situations. This approach supports the development of both verbal and non-verbal communication skills in a natural, interactive environment. Communication boards are available in the clubhouse to ensure that all students can express their needs and interact with peers in a variety of ways, promoting inclusive communication for every child.
Parents will see their children not only strengthen their academic skills but also gain confidence in social interactions, communication, and cooperative play. Our Clubhouse Social Club program creates an enriching, well-rounded experience that combines fun with meaningful learning.

BLOOM Presentations
This celebratory event provides a meaningful opportunity for parents and peers to witness the hard work and success of each child. It fosters a supportive and positive environment where students can confidently share their accomplishments, reinforcing their self-esteem and communication skills. The BLOOM Presentation is a chance for students to celebrate their journey and for families to see the tangible results of their efforts.
