OUR PROCESS
Learning through doing not just practicing.
1. Skills assessment
We start by understanding your child’s abilities, interests, and what independence looks like specifically for them. No two plans are the same.
2. Real-world practice
Guided experiences in actual community settings, not therapy rooms. Growth happens where life actually happens. We go there with them.
3. Support fades over time
Our goal is to make ourselves unnecessary. As your child builds confidence, we systematically step back until they’re doing it on their own.

Future Pathways FAQ
What age range does Future Pathways serve?
Primarily teens and young adults 14–26. We assess readiness, not just age we’ll tell you honestly where your child fits.
Does my child need to be verbal?
Not at all. We serve individuals across the full communication spectrum. AAC users are welcome communication is a skill we also help build.
Is this covered by insurance?
Currently a private-pay program. We can provide documentation for families pursuing insurance reimbursement on their own.
What does a typical session look like?
It depends on the goal visiting a library, practicing a job application at a coffee shop, navigating a bus route, or volunteering at a local org. Always in the real world.
